A Message from LIU Post Interfaith Center

Welcome! God’s plan for your life is so much better than you could ever imagine! Your time in college is a particulary significant time for coming to appreciate this reality. This is where our local faith communities can play such an important role, and we want to help you! God speaks to the heart, and we want to help you hear and listen.

How do we do that?

The LIU Catholic Campus Ministry team works to help our community grow in knowledge and fidelity to the Lord. We seek to do this through paticipation in the sacremtnal life of Holy Mother Church, opportunites to laern and pray together, service to our community, and developing authentic freindships in Christ. We reguarly work with other Catholic communities and Newman Centers at the other universities on Long Island. We are deeply blessed by the gift of our local Bishop to have a Blessed Sacrament chaple on campus. The weekly celebration of Holy Mass each Sunday on campus is the high point of our week!

Our Chaplain is The Very Rev'd Dom Elias Carr, Can. Reg., who is assisted by the rest of his community (the Canons Regular or St. Augustine). The Campus Minister is Patrick Morrissey. For more information, or to get connected, please contact Patrick Morrissey at firstname.lastname@example.org.
